Jed Young, with nearly two decades of dedicated service, serves as the Vice President of Business Development at PortCity. His role involves networking within the logistics community, forging enduring relationships with customers, and contributing to the company’s big-picture growth. Jed’s background boasts impressive achievements, including being a Board Member of the Propeller Club and the organizer of Maritime After Hours networking events. He is also an Affiliate Member of IFFCBA (Independent Freight Forwarders & Customs Brokers Association of Savannah) and a past President of the Savannah Traffic Club, where he served on the board for a decade. Jed’s commitment extends beyond the professional realm; he has served as the Past President of Habitat for Humanity and as a member of the Campaign Cabinet for United Way for five years. His passion for community-building is reflected not only in his work but also in his personal life, where he dedicates time to cycling and endurance sports. Jed thrives on spending time with his cycling club members, fostering a community centered around health and fitness. Logan Mamer

Vice President of Finance

As Vice President of Finance at PortCity, Logan Mamer oversees all accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in everything from customer invoicing to vendor payments. His team plays a crucial role in identifying opportunities for improvement by collaborating with operations teams and analyzing both operational and financial data. Logan also assists in forecasting and budgeting, constantly evaluating market trends to help PortCity stay agile and responsive to changes.

Logan holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from Wright State University, which he earned in 2018. After graduating, he moved to Savannah to work at Gulfstream, but soon found his passion at PortCity. Starting as the company’s first Industrial Engineer in 2019, Logan spent five years supporting the warehouse and transportation operations. In 2023, he transitioned full-time into finance, where his analytical and operational experience now supports the financial health of the company.

What Logan values most about PortCity is its family-like environment, where support, passion, and fun are core to the culture. He loves the collaborative spirit that empowers everyone to contribute to the company’s success.

Outside of work, Logan enjoys spending quality time with his family, traveling, and discovering new restaurants. A fan of the outdoors, you can find him exploring Savannah’s local spots, from walks in Forsyth Park to beach trips. Highly competitive, Logan is always ready for a friendly challenge, whether it’s in golf, pickleball, or any other yard game.

A distinguished USCG veteran and graduate of the University of Mississippi, Wicks’ commitment to excellence extends to his leadership in both professional and community roles. David Baranowski

National Sales Director

Transitioning from Operations Manager, his role involves leveraging this extensive background to guide the sales team into new markets and industries. David’s commitment to PortCity is rooted in its culture. He values the emphasis on people, growth, and support, making the work environment enjoyable. Outside of work, David prioritizes family, with his two sons both having graduated from UGA and now one serving in the Army and another as a police officer. In their newfound free time, David and his wife focus on simpler pleasures, such as home improvements.
